- Hyderabad has long-running societies and newer social run clubs; Sunday morning is the common slot.
- Meeting points like Gachibowli Stadium, KBR Park and Durgam Cheruvu come up in club listings, but some clubs only share the pin after you RSVP.
- Only clubs we could confirm from their own site or a 2026 directory are listed.
Hyderabad has both long-established running societies and a newer wave of social run clubs, and most meet early on weekends. The clubs below are the ones we could confirm, with what each source says about how they run.
How run clubs work in Hyderabad
Hyderabad Runners describes itself as a not-for-profit society. A member review on its site mentions regular Sunday long runs in different parts of the city, free, with support on the route, but its page does not publish an official weekly schedule. Hyderabad Hash House Harriers runs a hare-and-hounds style trail: a trail is marked with flour or chalk, the group follows it, and everyone gathers afterwards. Newer clubs such as Hydrn list social runs at places like Sainikpuri, and a club directory says several others share the meeting point only after you RSVP.

Its events page for 2026 lists Starlight Strides (women's night run) at Gachibowli Stadium on 24 October and a Kids Run at ICRISAT on 22 November. | Hyderabad Hash House Harriers | Hyderabad. Says it runs every Sunday; the page does not name a start point. | hyderabadhash.com |
| Hydrn | Based in Jubilee Hills. Its recent runs list Sainikpuri in February 2026, among others; the page gives no times. | hydrn.in |
| Run'Rave | Listed by a directory for Durgam Cheruvu and Sainikpuri, Sundays at 6:00 AM, with the meeting point shared after RSVP. | Event Flo directory, Endorfin |

The last three rest on directories that clubs fill in themselves (the Event Flo page was last checked 24 August 2026), so treat their times as a guide. We did not rank anyone.

What to bring and what to ask before joining
- Bring: water, shoes you have run in, your phone, and some cash or UPI.
- Ask: Where is the start this week? What distances and paces? Is it free? Is there support or water on the route? Is RSVP needed?
- Hash runs: ask how the trail works and whether walking is fine.
If you have a health condition, talk to a doctor first, and consider a 5K plan. More: how to join a run club in India.

Quick questions
Which is the oldest run group in Hyderabad?
From the pages we read, Hyderabad Hash House Harriers says it has run every Sunday since 1990, and Hyderabad Runners calls itself the first group in India to institutionalise running. We can't verify either claim beyond their own words.
What is a hash run?
Per Hyderabad Hash House Harriers, one member lays a trail marked with flour or chalk, the group follows it, and the run ends with a social gathering. It describes itself as non-competitive.
Are Hyderabad run clubs free?
A member review on the Hyderabad Runners site describes its Sunday long runs as free of cost. Other clubs' pages did not state fees, so ask each club.
Where do I find the next run?
On the club's own events page or Instagram. Hyderabad Runners' events page listed Starlight Strides at Gachibowli Stadium on 24 October 2026, for example.
